Contract Description
The Department of Conservation (DOC) required a 2km section of the Tasman Valley road replaced as many existing sections continually washed out. The Roading Company subcontracted Base for all earthworks, drainage, culverts & subgrade preparation working out of the Mt Cook Village.
- 2.14km of road re-alignment & new road construction
- Earthworks, 6,500m3 cut to waste & fill
- Drainage – subsoil 100m
- New 1,200mm dia twin culverts & headwalls
- Civils – culvert & concrete & railing works
- Gravel cartage for The Roading Company
- Gravel crushing, pavement finish & surfacing by The Roading Company
